JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Baker/Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to providing high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Friday/saturday/Sunday mornings for baking.
Possible to cross train as a Line cook/brunch shifts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a focus on cooking and food preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Mornings/early mornings
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the restaurant’s schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and baking as needed.
  • Decorate cakes and other desserts to enhance presentation.
  • Package food items for service or takeout efficiently.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions.
