OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in baking and writing on cakes. This role involves creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Starting Pay Range- $12-15/hr plus tips

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
• Strong skills in food preparation techniques, particularly in baking and cake decorating.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent knife skills and knowledge of various kitchen equipment.
• A background in catering is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.

• Prepare and bake a range of products including cheesecakes, cakes, and cookies.
• Decorate cakes and other baked goods with creativity and attention to detail.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed in the kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation for catering events as needed.
• Maintain inventory of baking supplies and ingredients.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production of baked goods.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and taking special orders.
