BAKER Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Classification: Non-Exempt Department: Bakery Reports To: Bakery Manager POSITION SUMMARY Frazier Farms Market is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Baker to join our Bakery team. This position is responsible for preparing, baking, decorating, packaging, and stocking a variety of fresh bakery products while maintaining high standards for quality, food safety, and customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing high-quality baked goods, and works well as part of a team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and other bakery products according to company recipes and production standards * Mix, scale, shape, proof, decorate, and package bakery items * Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality to ensure consistency and freshness * Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas, equipment, and displays * Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service * Assist customers with bakery product questions and special requests * Rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures * Assist with receiving deliveries, stocking inventory, and maintaining product levels * Operate bakery equipment safely, including mixers, ovens, slicers, scales, and wrappers * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines * Support the bakery team during holidays, promotions, and high-volume periods * Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS * Must be at least 18 years of age * Previous bakery, grocery, restaurant, or food production experience preferred * Passion for baking and producing quality products * Strong attention to detail and organization skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays * Food Handler Certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds * Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements * Ability to work safely around bakery equipment and varying temperatures WHY JOIN FRAZIER FARMS MARKET? * Weekly pay * Flexible scheduling * Health, dental, and vision insurance eligibility * 401(k) with company match * Paid sick leave and vacation benefits * Career growth opportunities * Employee discount for you and an eligible household family member EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER Frazier Farms Market is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
