JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing dough for various baked goods, ensuring the quality and consistency of our products, supervising staff, and training them in food preparation and handling. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and recipes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to train, supervise, and mentor staff.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to produce a variety of baked goods, including our signature fluffy pancakes.
  • Train and supervise staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of all baked goods.
