Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Learn all phases of the manufacturing process, tables, ovens, dividers, molders, ingredients and mix as required by leads. Forms, cuts, molds, shapes and bakes dough. Monitors baking completion times. Reports questionable product to the department leads. Ensure all process meets the customer or specification requirements and minimizes risk to the company. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Perform basic visual quality inspections on products. Utilize tools and equipment as needed to perform duties. Ensure compliance with OSHA and SDS Standards. Other duties as assigned. Communications: Informs Supervisor of known or anticipated problems in a proper manner and timely basis. Maintains good working relationships with company employees and coworkers. Communicates with department staff in a clear and timely manner to maximize productivity. Acts as a problem solver and a team player. Demonstrates good verbal communication skills. Requisite Skills/Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Previous Experience, Certificates, License and Skills: 1 year of experience as a baker or a bakery background (preferred) Ability to read and write English; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. Ability to work independently or in a team setting. Ability to follow simple instructions and rules. Self-starter, self-motivated and able to think on their feet. Ability to work under a timeline and meet timeline deadlines. Ability to multitask. Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations. Knowledge and understanding of all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Good hygiene and cleanliness. Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled hours. Ability to work weekends and holidays. Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
