JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our culinary team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with baking in a commercial environment. Will be able to bake a variety of breads, cakes/ deserts, pastries, wedding cakes and deserts for event. As well as come up with new ideas to create demand.
As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring high-quality standards, and providing excellent customer service. Your creativity in cake decorating and ability to work efficiently in a kitchen environment will be key to your success in this role.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in food preparation, baking, or culinary arts is preferred.
  • Pastry Chef or some culinary school for baking preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen protocols.
  • Ability to handle various kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a passion for quality food production.
  • Creative skills in cake decorating are highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including early mornings or weekends.
