OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our Bakery Babes as a Baker/Cake Decorator. you will contribute to the preparation and production of high-quality cakes and bakes to supply our two brunch restaurants as well as make cakes for special occasions and postal orders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards.
Please only apply if you are fully flexible on working days, are willing to work weekends and are available to work from 6.30am to 3pm. Overtime is required during peak seasonal periods such as the lead up to Christmas, easter, mothers day etc.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in food production and preparation within a professional kitchen setting.
  • Strong baking skills, with knowledge of various techniques.
  • Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment, adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative input based on trends.
