THE BUSINESS.

Manna Bakery is a small independent bakery located on Cold Bath Road, Harrogate. We produce a range of breads, cakes, sweet pastries and savoury items supplying our shop & cafe as well as wholesale. We are constantly growing as a business and looking for an apprentice to join our ever growing team.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR.

• The position is full time 36-40 hours per week
• previous bakery experience is necessary
• Work days are the following but hours may slightly change:
• Monday – 2.30am – 10.30am
• Tuesday - 2.30am – 10.30am
• Wednesday – OFF
• Thursday – 2.30am – 10.30am
• Friday – 12am – 8am
• Friday Night - 10pm – 6am
• Sunday - OFF
• Weekend working required.
• You will be trained in the usual weighing of ingredients, mixing, folding, shaping, baking and handling of breads
• You will be trained in the production of sweet pastries and cakes
• You will be trained in the production of savoury items, pies, quiches, savoury rolls etc.
• You will be expected to contribute at all times to the successful running of the bakery
• You will be expected to keep all areas of the production area clean.
• You will be expected to keep up to date with current food trends and come up with new product development ideas.
