ABOUT US:

Mojo Cuban Kitchen and Rum Bar is a South Florida inspired scratch Cuban Kitchen offering a menu of traditional Cuban comfort foods along with classic rum based cocktails in a casual and modern environment. We pride ourselves on our unique menu offerings and using only fresh ingredients to create memorable dining experiences. We are seeking a talented and experienced baker with pastry experience to assist with our regular production baking fresh bread and making pastries and to also assist with rolling out dessert specials.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a baker in a restaurant, catering, or resort hotel setting
  • Knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Creativity and artistic skills for decorating baked goods

Responsibilities

-Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the prep area
- Collaborate with the catering team to fulfill orders for special events or large orders
