We’re looking for someone who believes there’s nothing better than freshly baked bread. At Deli by Coarse, we’re building something special — from our iconic schiacciata sandwiches to the sourdough that fuels kitchens across the city (including our sister spots Coarse, Isla and Crush).
Now, we need a baker/pastry wizard to join the team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Rolling up your sleeves and perfecting our schiacciata bread (the star of the show).
  • Leading our sourdough production for venues across the city.
  • Dreaming up and developing new creations — breads, pastries, sweet treats — you tell us what’s next.
  • Sharing your expertise and helping us grow our bakery range with your creativity at the helm.

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who gets excited by the smell of dough early in the morning.
  • A baker/pastry chef with hands-on experience and a real passion for craft.
  • Creativity and confidence to bring ideas to the table (and then into the oven).
  • A collaborator who thrives in a small, ambitious team.
