Description

We are looking for an energetic Baker or Pastry Chef interested in working across our 3 locations at Ourimbah, Heatherbrae and the Southern Highlands in a hands-on support role (with accommodation provided when in the Southern Highlands).

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Trade qualifications or industry experience in a fast-paced retail bakery.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • While experience with pies isn’t necessary, a flexible & adaptive hands-on approach with a willingness to learn and develop your skills is a must.
  • Respectful & professional communication style with a friendly personality with the ability to fit into multiple team environments.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain their Food Handlers Certificate.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside and support the Bakery Managers in the successful day to day production and running of the bakeries.
  • Prepare quality products following our recipes & yield guidelines according to set standards.
  • Maintain a safe work environment in relation to OHS/WHS and food safety & hygiene.
  • Ensure procedures, policies and high standards are carefully adhered to at all times.
