This role blends traditional baking with customer interaction, upholding Mackenthun’s Exceptional Experience. Key Responsibilities Baking & Preparation: Analyze baking needs and bake products consistently throughout shifts. Measure, mix, bake, and package goods; assist with donut frying and cake decorating. Monitor inventory and assist with ingredient ordering. Customer Interaction: Assist customers in selecting baked goods and answer product-related questions. Offer recommendations and inform customers about specials or new products. Kitchen & Work Area Maintenance: Keep the bakery area clean and sanitary, adhering to food safety standards. Clean ovens, equipment, and dispose of waste. Inventory & Stocking: Monitor stock levels and assist with receiving and storing bakery shipments. Report shortages or equipment issues. Health & Safety Compliance: Follow food safety regulations for proper handling, storage, and sanitation.
