Job Details Job Location: Bagelmania Convention - Las Vegas, NV Salary Range: Undisclosed Description The baker will be responsible for providing baked items and service in an efficient manner. The baker will execute and improve recipes, perform quality checks, and make baked goods for the restaurant. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility, which will meet or exceed federal, state, and local standards. Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as bagels, cookies, bread, cakes, etc. Decorating and displaying finished products. Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls. Evaluate cooked food for quality prior to being served. Keeping record of inventory and production. Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift. Abide by company policies regarding food service. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma preferred. 1-2 years baking experience or graduation from a culinary program. Knowledge of food and cooking methods Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines Sense of urgency and prioritization Ability to success in a deadline driven environment Strong written and verbal communication PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling and lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to multi-task and remain positive in busy working conditions. WORKING CONDITIONS Schedule flexibility including nights and weekends where necessary Comply with the brand and Company uniform and hygiene policies. Fun, dynamic environment.
