We are seeking a Full-Time Baker to join our Kitchen Team. As a Baker, you will work in a fast-paced and innovative culinary environment for our members and guests, creating exceptional experiences with every baked item. QUALIFICATIONS:

· A proven track record, with minimum of 1 year experience in the Baking/Pastry industry
· A team player who can execute exceptional service with professional interpersonal communication and organizational skills
· Enthusiasm and a positive attitude with high standards of ethics, honesty and integrity
· Must be comfortable standing or walking during the length of shift and be able to repetitively lift supplies weighing up to 50lbs
· Food Safe Certification and other required certifications

Responsibilities
  • Produce delectable fresh baked breads, muffins, cookies, sweet loaves, laminated doughs and other feature baked items in conjunction with the Executive Chef, Pastry Chef and baker team
  • Execution, organization and preparation of all menu items for service as per Banquet Event Orders and other requests, ensuring items meet the expected department standards and that support is provided to colleagues in ensuring that they have the resources and assistance to complete their tasks efficiently
  • Maintain high food quality, preparation and work area standards that meet Health and Safety and Alberta Health Services standards by ensuring that department training is utilized, opportunities for improvement are addressed and that menu changes have accurate specifications reflected in the kitchen resource materials
