JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food preparation, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that meet our standards of excellence while ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are followed.
This role requires a blend of culinary skills, customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a Baker is essential.
  • Proficiency in various baking methods including bread and cakes.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Strong background in food preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A passion for baking and creating delicious products that delight customers.
    We are looking to build on our reputation for providing downtown Ottawa with high quality cafe products.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
