Due to rapid growth, we are currently seeking an experienced and creative Baker to join our team and work in our brand-new bakery. As our Baker, you will bake cakes, brownies and other desserts for The Train Line shop and bespoke orders. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all orders are completed on time and to the highest standards.
The Train Line is located at Seaburn Metro Station so we are an easy commute by metro or car or bus.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, cupcakes, brownies, blondies and other desserts in accordance to The Train Line menu.
• Decorate cakes and desserts using various icings, toppings, and fillings
• Ensure that all cakes and desserts are baked and decorated to the highest standards of quality and taste
• Create custom cakes and desserts for special events and occasions
• Keep accurate records of all orders, ingredients, and baking procedures
• Clean and maintain all baking equipment, tools, and work areas
• Stay up-to-date with the latest baking trends and techniques to improve our offerings and maintain a competitive edge in the market
• Maintain impeccable standards of cleaning within our brand-new bakery

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cake Baker
• Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends in accordance with the needs of the business
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent time management

We have both full-time and part-time positions available.
