We are currently seeking a passionate and fast learner to join our artisan bakery in Inverness. While past experience as a baker or pastry chef is desirable, it is not a necessity. If you have a keen interest in food and a strong desire to learn about the art of sourdough bread and pastry, this opportunity is perfect for you. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality products in a small business setting, and we’re looking for someone to contribute to both our bread and pastry sides. The starting salary is £26,000, but it is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. (Day shift or Night Shift)

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and develop essential baking skills under the guidance of experienced bakers.
  • Assist in the preparation and production of bread, pastries and cakes.
  • Follow recipes and instructions meticulously to ensure consistent quality and exceptional taste.
  • Collaborate with the pastry team and have opportunities to learn advanced pastry techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, upholding our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

  • Excellent reliability and the ability to work efficiently, managing your workload effectively.

Working Hours:
