JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Bakers Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with a passion for cooking and baking. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced bakery setting.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong cooking skills with experience in baking being highly advantageous
• Ability to work early shifts (2:30-3:00am starts) and weekends
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
• Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory
• A passion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality results

  Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

• Prepare and bake a variety of bre, pastries etc according to established recipes and standards
• Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring all food is produced efficiently and safely
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food preparation processes.
• Participate in seasonal menu planning and recipe development as required
• Conduct regular checks on food storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Keep the kitchen area clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times
