You will be required to produce a range of in-house artisan breads and pastries in a fast-paced high-quality production environment. Our culture is team-based, positive and all about work-life balance. The bakery department is fully equipped with high-end, new equipment in a fully air-conditioned environment. Requirements
1-2 years’ experience producing artisan breads and pastries
Able to operate modern baking equipment (dividers/retarder proofers/sheeter/dough breaks)
A willingness to support other team members in learning the craft including new staff and apprentices
Comfortable with manual heavy lifting when required (up to 50lbs)
Must have full availability and be comfortable to work weekends and weekdays
A trade culinary school certificate or diploma
A good understanding of laminating doughs and other pastries would be a plus/or the willingness to learn
Valid food handler car
