Job Overview: We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and friendly individual to join our team as a Front-of-House Bakery Assistant. In this role, you will be the face of Awaken Bakery, ensuring that every customer receives excellent service while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere of our bakery.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred.
• Familiarity with gluten-free products is a plus.
• Barista experience is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to work well under pressure, with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone.

• Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers warmly, and assisting them with their orders.
• Take in-person and phone orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area, including restocking bakery cases and supplies.
• Perform opening and closing duties as required.
• Answer customer inquiries, both in person and over the phone, with a friendly and informative approach.
• Contribute to the overall team effort by accomplishing tasks promptly and collaborating with coworkers.
