Bakers Assistant Responsibilities and Duties in the bakery/kitchen of the cafe:
Provide baker’s assistant services to bakers and chefs in a bakery or restaurant set up.
Assist baker in cooking and preparations of bread, cakes, pastries and other items.
Maintain the premises of baking area in a neat and hygienic manner.
Assist baker in lifting heavy sacks of flour and other baking items.
Assist bakers in operating baking machineries and implements.
Maintain and sanitize baking utensils, tools, implements and machinery.
Ensure total customer satisfaction through baking of delicious bakery products.
Strictly adhere to food safety laws and standards while preparing bakery products.
Willingness to always help with bakery/kitchen demands and packaging, organizing, stocking and prepping where needed.
One year experience required in a bakery/kitchen environment. Must be able to work evening shifts and weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
