Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant/cook to join our team. The Bakery Assistant will support the bakery operations by assisting in food preparation, baking, and cooking breakfast from small menu.

Duties

• Assist in food preparation and baking activities
• Handle food production tasks such as measuring ingredients and mixing dough
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests at the register
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area

• Support catering orders and special requests

  Qualifications

• Prior experience in food handling, cooking, or a related field is preferred

• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
• Ability to multitask between sandwich making and other tasks
• Familiarity with pastry techniques is a plus
• Ability to use kitchen tools including knives and mixers efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with patrons effectively

  Ideal Schedule:
  Mon & Tues : 5am-noonish, based on busy-levels, Thursday 10-close (3ish)
  Job Type: Part-time
  Pay: From $16.00 per hour
  Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
