Overview:
Join our bakery team as a Bakery Assistant and be part of creating delicious baked goods for our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items such as bread, pastries, and desserts
- Measure and weigh ingredients according to recipes
- Mix, knead, and shape dough for various baked goods
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate and garnish finished products
- Package and label bakery items for display or sale
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment
- Time: 2:30 AM - 10:30 AM M-S, 3 days off/week, alternating day off between Tuesday and Saturday off.
- Front counter sales and customer service at times
Experience
- Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment over one year is required.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality products are produced
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
