Huffkins Craft Bakery in Witney is recruiting 2 x Bakery Assistants to work 20 to 24 hours a week.
Successful candidates will work 3 to 4 shifts a week from 12 pm till 8 pm 3 or 4 days a week to include alternate Saturdays.
When a Saturday shift is worked it is a morning shift from 7 am till 3 pm.
No commercial bakery experience required , but you should be able to follow a recipe and enjoy learning new skills and have a good understanding of hygiene.
You must be physically fit and capable of lifting 12 kg flour bags.
Full training will be given and over time your commercial skill sets will grow.
You should enjoy being part of a team, have a fabulous attitude and take pride in your work.
Duties include
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment including ovens and mixers.
- Decorate and package finished bakery products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
Requirements.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Note: This position may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting.
