JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a baker/cake decorator/customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food preparation and customer interactions meet our high standards. You will play a crucial role in baking, cake decorating, customer interaction and cash management.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in the food industry or bakery setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling guidelines is essential.
• Experience with cashiering and managing cash transactions is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.

• Cake decorating experience is an asset.
  Job Type: Part-time
  Pay: $17.20-$23.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week

• Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards.
• Operate the POS system, Square, shopify.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management.
