Bakers will also operate mixers, ovens, scales, slicers, fryers, as well as wrap and price items within the bakery department. They will ice pastries, decorate cakes; fill displays while also assisting customers with purchases and any other tasks assigned by management. Bakers are responsible for maintaining a clean work area and following all safety rules set in place by the store. They must adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
