Job Description We are seeking a talented and passionate Bakery Chef to join our team in 6th of October City, Egypt. As a Bakery Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety. Develop and execute a diverse menu of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and desserts Oversee daily bakery operations, including production scheduling and inventory management Train and supervise bakery staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards Implement and maintain food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with local regulations Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal and specialty items Monitor and control food costs while maintaining product quality Stay current with baking trends and techniques to innovate and improve offerings Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products Participate in menu planning and recipe development Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications Culinary degree or diploma in baking and pastry arts Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional bakery or restaurant setting Proven expertise in various baking techniques and methods Strong skills in recipe development and modification Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Excellent time management and organizational skills Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience Creativity and passion for culinary arts, especially baking Knowledge of Egyptian and international baking traditions Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus Valid food safety certification Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
