OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate chef to join our kitchen team to prepare and bake savoury pastries and cakes/traybakes for our farmshop and cover breakfast shifts at our pub. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and line service in a busy kitchen environment. Must be able to work on own and in a team with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The role is varied and will include preparing menu items for our 3 hospitality businesses in particular our savoury bakes and pastry items for our farm shop deli. Therefore you must have a proven background in pastry and baking along with experience to cover a busy breakfast service. Other duties will include general food prep, keeping all work areas clean whilst adhering to all food legislation.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience essential.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and meal presentation.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen.
  • A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed customer expectations.
    Job Type: Permanent
    Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
