Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Craft high-quality breads and pastries from scratch, ensuring each product meets the bakery's standards for flavor, texture, and appearance.
- Manage the preparation and measurement of ingredients with precision, adhering to recipes while also making adjustments for seasonal variations.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens and mixers, ensuring they are in optimal working condition to meet production demands.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures closely to produce consistently perfect results, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in baking or pastry arts is preferred for advanced techniques.
- Certification in food safety and handling is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen, demonstrating a strong foundation in baking skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, to meet bakery demands.
