DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate III or IV in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Test & Tag certification (AS/NZS 3760) advantageous

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time, permanent role suited to a technician with strong experience in maintaining and troubleshooting electronic and electromechanical production machinery. You will play a key part in ensuring the operational continuity and efficiency of our bakery equipment and control systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and repair faults in bakery machinery including ovens, mixers, slicers, and conveyor systems
  • Conduct component-level repairs on control boards, sensor modules, and embedded electronics
  • Calibrate and maintain control systems including gas sensors, thermal regulators, and speed controllers
  • Perform firmware updates and modify machine software settings to optimise production flow
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service logs
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS-based production systems and provide basic IT and device support
  • Interpret technical diagrams and liaise with suppliers for parts and fault resolution
  • Support the integration of mechanical systems with embedded software and user interfaces
