SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous bakery or food management experience essential
• Supermarket experience preferred
• The ability to train and develop staff
• Control department costs such as wastage, wages and other operational costs
• Understanding of local market and seasonal trends
• Food safety standards

As the Bakery Manager you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Bakery Department within this busy supermarket. You will be responsible for the team management and development whilst ensuring the highest quality of baked goods are being presented and are available to your customers whilst monitoring wastage and operational costs.
