The Nugget Markets Kitchen, in our Woodland Warehouse, is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic team players with a whatever it takes attitude to join the bakery production team! This is a full time position with a more physical aspect that suits someone with experience working in a fast paced production environment. *Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment. Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities include prepping, baking, packaging, and labeling hundreds of baked goods daily for shipment to our stores. This includes mixing, scaling, and benching dough, baking artisan breads and desserts, lifting and stacking flour, loading carts and racks, transferring products to refrigeration/freezers, palletizing, and labeling products into boxes. You'll also operate various kitchen machinery, including ovens, proofers, slicers, mixers, and dough dividers, while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment. Due to the perishable nature of our products, you'll work in extremely cold environments and must be familiar with proper food handling techniques. Qualifications You should meet the following requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Must possess basic math skills Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read recipes, basic instructions, schedules and signage Excellent communication skills A sense of urgency while paying attention to details Ability to multitask and prioritize A positive attitude is essential!
