Description Bakery Production Team Player’s Mission Effectively carry out Prasek’s mission, work with, and carry out the tasks delegated by the Bakery Manager. Personal Qualities - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen to, communicate with and understand management, Team Players, and others Essential Functions - Bake – make dough - Practice good personal hygiene and sanitation procedures - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the bakery (food preparation, storage and assembly) - Perform closing and cleaning procedures as indicated on the Opening/Closing Checklist - Ensure that all equipment, tubs and utensils are properly cleaned, sanitized and stored - Perform all job duties in a safe manner - Operate equipment used in the bakery according to proper procedures and notify Management of needed equipment repairs - Notify the Manager on duty of any unsafe conditions or safety violations - Abide by all company policies and procedures as detailed in the Prasek’s Family Smokehouse Team Player Handbook and Operating Manuals Requirements Education, Knowledge and Experience - Basic knowledge of technologically based equipment - Ability to understand and use all needed equipment and machinery - Possess an overall knowledge of bakery and value added products, i.e., quality, ingredients, production processes, preparation methods, storage methods and uses - Possess a knowledge of quality baked goods, safety, merchandising and marketing, and selling Physical and Other Requirements - Must be 18 years of age or older - Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds - Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side-to-side for an extended period of time - Must be able to move safely around equipment and possess dexterity in hands and fingers - As dictated by business and need, must be able to work early mornings, extended hours and a varying work schedule
Responsibilities
