SUMMARY:

The Bakery Sales Associate position is for someone who likes working in a fast paced food & retail environment, shows exemplary customer service, is organized and can go with the flow in a pinch.

Reports To: Bakery Manager, Bakery Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, Upper management, Ownership
Grade/Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Work Schedule: Closing Shift 3/4pm - 7:30pm One weekend day is required.
Amount of Travel Required: Not applicable
Positions Supervised: Not applicable
Experience: Bakery related experience preferred
Certificates & Licenses: ServSafe Certification & Allergen Awareness Training Preferred

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Customer Service
• Assisting customers with questions or directing them to someone who can assist
• Sales
• Cleaning
• Washing & drying dishes
• Keep bakery area clean
• Assist bakers with tasks when needed

KEY JOB DUTIES (NOT EXHAUSTIVE)

• Maintain regular and prompt attendance at worksite
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintaining cleanliness of customer seating area (sweeping, mopping, emptying trash)
• Finishing product/pastry
• Provide customer service at the bakery register
• Provide customer service at the drive-thru (headset)
• Brewing coffee and refilling coffee pots on the rack
