Bakery Supervisor - Signia by Hilton Orlando and Waldorf Astoria Orlando
The and are looking for their next Bakery Supervisor to join the culinary team! These two one-of-a-kind properties boast 12 different dining outlets. The ideal candidate will have a strong bakery background, specializing in danishes, croissants, pastries, specialty breads, and other high-quality baked goods from scratch. This individual will have a minimum of 3-5 years of pastry and baking experience and extensive expertise in hotel operations, as this role will support a complex hotel environment. Will help oversee a team of 4-6 people.
Shift Pattern: Typical shift times are from 6am-3pm but full availability is required, including weekends and holidays.
Pay Rate: $26.10 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and participate in the creation, preparation, production and baking of all pastries, breads, rolls and desserts for food and beverage outlets
  • Ensure pastry cooks prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards and inspect food quality and presentation
  • Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus, as needed
  • Ensure cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Oversee the display of baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
  • Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food item
