REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bi-Lingual English – Spanish.
  • Basic understanding of English language (reading, writing, speaking).
  • 1-2 years Leader/Managerial experience in fast paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

The focus of this position and its duties include supporting and supervising his/her team during daily operation activities to ensure quality, food safety, and efficiencies are met according to all internal standard operating procedures, company policies, customer requirements and regulatory requirements for food safety. The position is expected to adhere to all SQF Food Safety Regulations, OSHA laws, FDA and other regulatory requirements in the food service industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Supervises and leads team members of his/her respective department.
  • Communicates company goals, safety practices and deadlines to team.
  • Motivates team members and assesses their performance
  • Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
  • Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.
  • Ensures company materials and physical workspaces meet and exceed company standards
  • Print daily paperwork.
  • Supervise activities and work performance on the floor.
  • Maintain and enforce proper CGMP practices.
  • Check cleaning of machines prior and after use.
  • Maintain full knowledge and strong understanding of SOP and proper use of equipment.
  • Responsible for proper labeling.
  • Ensure count and documentation of daily yield.
