At Brass Bird Coffee, we take pride in creating fresh, seasonal, and beautiful pastries that reflect the spirit of California’s Central Coast. We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Baking Assistant to join our production team and help bring our daily pastry offerings to life.

• Assist with preparation, portioning, and baking of pastries, breads, and other baked goods
• Support our lead pastry chef and team with scaling recipes, prepping ingredients, and maintaining production flow
• Ensure quality, consistency, and cleanliness in all baking tasks
• Help with organizing storage, and maintaining a clean, food-safe kitchen
• Work early morning shifts to help ensure our pastry case is full, fresh, and beautiful each dayWhat You’ll Do:
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery preferred, but not required
• Passion for baking and a strong work ethic
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Able to follow recipes and take direction
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
