Responsibilities This entry level warehouse job consists of performing a variety of tasks to assist the Distribution Center in operating efficiently. The duties include the following: ● Transfers trash and recyclable material to the compactor/baler area and maintains a clean work area. ● Separates recyclable material from trash. ● Operates all machinery used to handle trash or recycled material. ● Loads/unloads Junk bedding, Shuttle, Receiving and Recycling trailers. ● Handles, repackages and moves returned merchandise ● Sorts, transports, processes recycling material and disposes all trash generated from the department’s daily operations ● Assist with the overall cleanliness of the DC by ensuring floor is clear of recycling debris ● Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards Qualifications 0-6 months of related experience or equivalent education/experience. Must be 18 years or age or older Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 110 lbs.
