JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles, particularly ballroom, Latin and partnering skills, possess the ability to inspire and educate students of all ages. This role requires excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a Dance Instructor or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Ballroom and Latin techniques; additional experience in other dance styles is a plus.
• Experience working with students of various ages, particularly children, is essential.
• Skills in behavior management, early childhood education, or childcare are highly desirable.
• Ability to sew costumes or have culinary skills for event preparation can be beneficial but are not required.

• Teach dance classes in various styles.
• Develop lesson plans that cater to the skill levels and needs of students.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their technique and performance.
• Organize and participate in recitals, showcases, or competitions as needed.
• Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall curriculum and student experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and cared for.
