Description The Position: As a Restaurant Manager, at Bancroft you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining excellent customer service. The successful candidate will have a passion for the restaurant industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record working in fine dining restaurants. Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staffing. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary restaurant environment. Maintain excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner. Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork, communication, and a strong work ethic. Exude a high level of hospitality to our guests and employees. Hires, trains and develops new hourly team members. Optimizes profits by building sales and assisting with the control of food, labor and beverage costs. Provides leadership and direction to all team members - coaches in real time. Requirements: Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and staffing Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant technology Craft cocktail, wine and beer knowledge a plus Ability for stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs We offer a comprehensive benefits package after the first full 30 (thirty) days of employment to employees that meet our eligibility requirements.
