We’re looking for Healthcare Support Workers to join our dedicated Oxhey Ward team and help deliver excellent patient care.
Oxhey is a 12-bedded dual frailty unit, specialising in the care of older people with dementia and delirium. Our patients often have impaired cognition and/or mobility and may require support with activities of daily living.
We are looking for someone with a naturally engaging manner and a genuine willingness to interact positively with patients. The role can be demanding and challenging, but rewarding.
You will be required to work 12.5 hour shifts, covering days, nights and weekends (further details below).

Responsibilities

Assisting patients with activities of daily living.
Providing encouragement and assistance at mealtimes.
Carrying out clinical observations, including blood pressure and other vital signs.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and the Multidisciplinary Team.
Maintaining accurate electronic documentation.
Previous experience is preferable, but not essential, as full support and training will be provided.
