Description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Bank Front of House Support Receptionist to join our friendly administration team.
Our receptions are open & staffed between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday. Full and part cover will be considered on a day by day basis.
The post holder will be required to provide cover for reception duties at Kingswood Civic Centre, BS15 9TR
The post holder will provide ad hoc front of house support services including meeting and greeting service users and visitors, answering telephone calls, and making room bookings for staff.
We are looking for excellent communication and organisational skills together with a confident and pleasant telephone manner. Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure are skills that are vital in this busy role.
Previous experience of working in a reception environment is required; there will be administrative tasks within the role requiring PC skills.
We are AWP (Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust) a diverse organisation with over 5,000 dedicated staff providing inpatient and community-based mental health care. We provide services from a range of locations to approximately 1.8 million people living in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon, across the county of Wiltshire and in parts of Dorset. Our outstanding people promote mental health and wellbeing. The expertise and resources within AWP are dedicated to a person-centred approach for those who use our services and for all employees. We recognise that happy and fulfilled employees give better care.
At AWP we actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds; we are particularly keen to encourage applications from people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, those with disabilities and from the LGBTQ+ community. We want people to bring their unique blend of experiences, backgrounds, perspectives and knowledge to AWP, as diversity makes us stronger.
You will be supported in your role by the Kingswood Area Site Coordinator, and passionate and friendly colleagues both in support services and the wider Facilities Management team.
The Bank Receptionist will provide assistance as required depending on service need. As well as acting as a first point of contact both face to face and over the telephone, the role will include general administrative duties and use of bespoke systems to book rooms for staff members.
A willingness to occasionally work at other receptions in South Bristol would be an advantage.
In this role, the post holder will be speaking to service users, healthcare professionals, external agencies, emergency services, members of the public and more.
