SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a BSc in Radiography or equivalent.
  • HCPC registered.
  • To be familiar with a computerised patient information system (RIS/Soliton and PACS)
  • To have a basic experience in MRI environment
  • Previous cannulation experience is desirable but not essential and full training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • To Assist in MRI procedures and be able to perform MRI examinations safely.
  • To operate accurately and safely complex radiological equipment, requiring a high degree of manual dexterity.
  • To ensure that all the documentation relating to an examination is appropriately organised to ensure rapid and accurate transit through the Administrative and Clerical systems of the Directorate.
  • To work unsupervised and participate in on-call and weekend work when training is completed and competencies have been signed off
