We are recruiting for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to work within a hospital in Birmingham.

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

• An excellent development opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated pharmacy technicians to join our diverse team to support the ward and multi-disciplinary team in developing a high quality pharmacy service.
• Your main duties will be working on wards carrying out a comprehensive medicines management service which will encompass assessment of patient’s own medicines, medicines reconciliation, and counselling for discharge. In addition the ward based teams are heavily involved in the governance of medicines through our regular cycle of audits.
• You must have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to show you are self- motivated and flexible in your approach to your work to meet the requirements for our developing service.
