An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and skilled Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join the Psychological Therapies Service (PTS) in South Glos. The post holder will support the delivery of a range of a range of complex psychological therapies offered across the PTS. We would welcome applicants with an interest in working with complex C-PTSD to address gaps in therapy provision for this presentation.
The post holder will provide complex psychological assessment, formulations, and interventions to service users and their systems. The role will also involve engaging in consultation, training and staff support to meet the needs of the community teams interfacing with the PTS. In addition, part of the role will focus on the development of provision of neuropsychological assessments and adjustment for adults presenting with specific needs resulting from cognitive difficulties. As a service we are committed to addressing structural inequities and welcome applicants who are interested in embracing diversity in all its forms.
There will be opportunities for training and CPD with the aim of supporting the successful candidate in expanding competencies in delivery of psychological therapies. BABCP accreditation would be advantageous in this post.
The post holder will be required to work on Tuesdays and Fridays to meet the multifaceted needs of the service.
