Job Title: Lead Pharmacist Banding: 8b Location: Planned and Critical Care, Pharmacy – Epsom and St Helier (must be willing to work cross-site) Start Date: 15th December 2025 Duration: Until 27th February 2026 (subject to change) Working Hours: 29.27 hours per week, Monday to Friday Pay rate: £32/£35 PH Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Pharmacist to join the Planned and Critical Care Pharmacy team across Epsom and St Helier sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care and supporting clinical teams in critical and planned care settings. Key Responsibilities Provide expert clinical pharmacy services across planned and critical care areas. Lead and manage pharmacy operations within the designated specialties. Ensure compliance with medicines management policies and national standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Support and mentor junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications and Experience GPhC registration as a Pharmacist. Significant post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy, ideally within critical care or planned care. Proven leadership and management skills.
