We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join our sawmill team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our bandsaw machine, sawing log into timber products according to specifications at a fast pace environment. This role is critical in ensuring efficient production and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in sawmill operations or machinery operation is preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate computerized control systems.
• Knowledge of basic timber sizes and dimensions is required.
• Ability to visualise cut dimensions of timber
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying workloads.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
