DurhamGate Care Home located near Spennymoor, Durham, is recruiting for brilliantly organised team players to join us. DurhamGate is a purpose built luxury care home which opened in November 2023. It’s our job to look after people – and that includes the amazing carers and support staff that become part of our team.     To be successful in this role, you will need to:
  • If you have an NVQ 2 or willing to undertake the qualification, or you are looking for an introduction to working in care.
    -Physically fit and have right personality to carry out duties and responsibilities to support resident’s needs.
    -Team player, self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and adaptable.
    -Able to organise and prioritise workload and work under pressure.
    -Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • All training will be provided but previous experience would be advantage.
  • Above all that, you need to have caring heart and be supportive to our residents to maximise the experience living with us in DurhamGate.
