REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and case management practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of clients, full training is provided for all equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is an advantage.
• A valid driver’s licence may be required depending on the role’s location and duties.

• Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
• Assist clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs if required during the night.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health status to the appropriate personnel.
• Implement case management strategies to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Utilise medical terminology effectively when communicating with healthcare professionals.
