Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring they are ready on time and meet the specified content and quality standards.
  • Adhere to portion control guidelines as outlined by the Hotel Services Manager.
  • Follow the department’s cleaning schedule within the catering block, including the changing room, to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Serve meals to service users at ward level as required, including daily dinner service, ensuring food temperatures are recorded and meet required standards.
  • Wear the provided catering PPE/uniform, maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, and uphold excellent personal hygiene in line with quality standards.
  • Organise and prepare graded meals according to patients’ menu choices, ensuring they are ready for serving and delivery to the wards
